This time of the year is perfect for outdoor adventures. It’s not too hot and it’s not too cold! (unless your in Texas… ) Here are a few ways you can get outside with your kids!

Fly Kites.

Pack up a picnic, head to the dollar store, and purchase some kites. This is a great way to get the kids out and about. Kites can even be therapeutic for adult too! Try flying one yourself.

Plant a Garden

Let your kids pick out various seed and flower to plant in a small area around your home. This will give them something to tend to everyday and encourage responsibility while enjoying the weather.

Volunteer

Teach your kids about caring for the environment by finding a local non-profit to volunteer with. There are plenty of groups who organize park clean-ups, ocean clean-ups, and other outdoor projects that always need volunteers.

Have any ideas of your own to share with our community? We would love to hear from you. Leave your comments below.
